03 / How I think

Look at the process
before you look
at the person.

One thing I’ve learned: a team can work hard and still be held back by its systems. I start by understanding the flow, then build a better way forward.

Connected digital tools illustrating a coordinated workflow
01

The Operator’s Lens

Name the failure point. Walk the workflow. Change the system first, then re-measure.

02

Systems over Heroics

When someone saves the day, learn from what they did. Turn the rescue into a process the whole team can rely on.

03

Trust Before Reach

Be useful before you need something. Build relationships through consistent contributions over time.

04

The 50/30/20 Growth Model

50 to run it, 30 to grow it, 20 to bet on what’s next. If running today takes more than half, fix the system.

04 / A little about me

An operator’s mindset.
A builder’s curiosity.

My first lessons in business came from my family’s restaurant in Elkhart. Over time, that work grew into leading teams, building digital systems, and helping businesses and nonprofits serve their communities.

Today, I’m a Coach at Walmart, Chief Operating Officer at Chinese Community AI, and founder of SuperCharge AI. Across those roles, I keep coming back to the same question: how can we make this work better for the people using it?

Curiosity doesn’t clock out.

I’ve written 10 books, published 200+ songs, developed 50+ CustomGPTs, and built 12 websites this year. Writing, music, and building are different ways of doing the same thing: exploring an idea and making something people can use or connect with.
